Welcome to my website. Prague is a fantastic city to visit with an interesting mix of culture, architecture, environment, people and history. I specialise on exploring outside Prague’s main central tourist district. If that’s for you, please browse my website for details. Why REX in Prague?
Since 2005, I have visited Prague many times and explored the city districts. It’s been a wonderful experience and I realised that there are hardly any tours offering visitors the chance to go out and see Prague for real, good and bad. And so, REX in Prague was created!

What is REX in Prague all about?
It’s about exploring the city away from the central tourist district through a combination of walking and using public transport: trams, buses and trains. We aim to get a sense of the local history and environment. The tours are designed to see varied items of local interest: parks; monuments; churches; good views of the city; woodland paths; architecture and so on...it depends on the district we visit. The idea is to give visitors a sense of what’s out there and allow them the opportunity for a fuller visit to any particular site that grabs their interest at a later date. The tours are not about spending time visiting sites in detail – there just isn’t time!

Who would the tours suit?
Do you enjoy lots of walking? Do you have a sense of adventure? Do you like to explore and see different things? Are you an active type of person? Do you what to get away from the tourist crowds? Do you understand English? If so, my tours are for you! The tours are all about a Real Explore Xperience, so if we miss a tram or bus, we wait for the next one. If we need a drink, we call in a local shop along the way. We get away from organised tourist routes and expensive city prices.

Why is REX in Prague different?
Understandably, the majority of tours concentrate on the well known central tourist attractions of Prague. My tours are different in that:

• They are only in English, given by an Englishman living locally outside the city centre
• They only cover Prague Districts outside the central tourist zone
• The groups are limited in size: maximum is 12 people
• They are priced to give value for money based on what i would be prepared to pay
• They aim to give a sense of local items of interest and environment without getting bogged down in too much detail
